The Neurodiversity Project: The Wonderful World of Aesop

Enter Aesop’s imaginative world of brave mice, clever crows, and fantastic fables, through this fast-paced and theatrical play. Audiences Unlimited and Fort Wayne Youtheatre collaborate with a group of neurodiverse youth to create an ability inclusive theatrical experience that will entertain, delight, and highlight the transformative possibilities of theatre. Puppets, masks, and imaginative performances bring Aesop’s best-loved tales to life.

Using the transformative and inventive world of Aesop’s Fables, Audiences Unlimited and Fort Wayne Youtheatre will create a unique theatrical experience with a group of neurodivergent and neurotypical young artists. Working side by side for three months this company of neurodiverse youth will explore their creative talents and collaborate on a show that will not only entertain but demonstrate the value of the arts for all by enhancing social interaction, communication skills, self-confidence, and self-esteem.
