“Hound-Dog Beautiful: Poetry & Movement” is a collaborative performance featuring the Poetry of George Kalamaras, the choreography of Elizabeth Mikautadze and The Mikautadze Dance Theatre dancers, and music by David Mikautadze. Based upon a suite of George’s poems focused on hound dogs—poems which simultaneously consider culture, art, and the complexities of the human psyche—this performance intertwines three art forms, creating a deeply inspiring and thought-provoking experience.
