A MIGHTY FORTRESS (September 15-17 & 22-24, 2017) is afO's contribution to worldwide commemoration of the Protestant Reformation's 500th anniversary. Artistic Director Lauren Nichols' original one-man show presents Martin Luther, hidden away in Wartburg Castle, reflecting on the events of his life which led to his famous "Here I stand" speech at the Diet of Worms. Filled with humor and humanity, this one-act drama will provide important historic perspective to a 21st century audience. Jadon Moore stars as Martin Luther. Rated G, but most appropriate for middle school and up.
